DA GOLF BOYS
In case you missed it, the Golf Boys (Ben Crane, Bubba Watson, Rickie Fowler and Hunter Mahan) came out with their second video. Say what you will, but there are a couple of impressive things:
These videos could be the opposite of the Sports Illustrated Jinx. Maybe the Golf Boys felt they needed a boost after being shut out so far in 2013. If form holds, they should all win one this year or next at the latest.
The original Golf Boys Video:
WORST BEST GOLF LESSONS EVER
As pointed out by Adam Fonseca of @ChicagoDuffer, "this is the worst golf instruciton video you will ever see." There is something oddly hypnotic) and for some reason German) about it. For most guys trying to get hypnotized by YouTube, there are other options.
In contrast, via Yahoo's Devil Ball Golf, is a funny Tiger Woods instructional video (old Nike commercials). He seems relaxed and easygoing here: I like this Tiger.
MORE ON KITTENS AND GANGNAM STYLE PARODIES
As noted here before, we've probably all too many kid-prodigies playing golf but unlike the 17 month old shown here before, this 22 month old guy appears to be using actual clubs (via SI.com's Press Tent). Love the finish and pose. Plus, this little guy comes with a soundtrack. It may be my soft spot for kids ... or concern that my year-old only has 10 months to get his act together.
FASTEST GOLF VIDEO. YOU SAY TOMAHTO...
I'll get this out of my system once.
This is probably not what VW or the EPA had in mind.
HOLE IN ONE
While this is not a golf hole in one, the odds seem about the same in the circumstances Any sports fan has got to love this game winner. You likely have seen it as it is an internet sensation already and made the front page of the NY Times Sports section.
Ignore the commentars at first -- it counted! So in case you missed it.
JOHNNY AND JACK
Some of the best golf commentary of the year is when Jack Nicklaus join Johnny Miller in the booth on Sunday at the Honda Classic. It never disappoints largely because of the twinkle in Johnny's eye. It seems to be a combination of respect, excitement and mischief as he gets to try to ask pointed questions while Jack is his typical diplomatic self. Great stuff.
No rights to show any such video here and I couldn't even find it anywhere out there anyway.
